Carrie A. DeSimone Joins CABE Associates, Inc. as
Project Engineer

Dover, DE
(March 8, 2007) – Carrie A DeSimone, an experienced
process engineer concentrating on water and wastewater
facility design, has joined CABE Associates, Inc. as a
Project Engineer in the Dover, Delaware office. “Carrie
is a great addition to the firm and our process design
group,” said Lee Beetschen, CABE Principal and Founder
“She has extensive design experience in both municipal
and industrial arenas of the Delmarva and Chesapeake
regions. In addition, her involvement in the local
American Water Works Association and Water Environment
Federation chapters will bolster our presence in those
technical associations.” CABE, a leading civil and
environmental engineering firm founded in 1976, has
offices in Dover, DE and Gainesville, GA.
Ms. DeSimone
has been working as a water and wastewater process and
design engineer for five years serving both municipal
and industrial sectors. Her expertise is in wastewater
process design, particularly nutrient removal.
Ms. DeSimone
has evaluated and designed enhanced nutrient removal (ENR)
processes for wastewater facilities throughout Maryland.
She has designed treatment plant expansions and upgrades
and has assisted various municipalities in the Delmarva
region with bid and construction phases of their
projects.
Ms. DeSimone
joins CABE Associates from Gannett Fleming, Inc. in
Baltimore, where she has been a process engineer since
2002. She is a graduate of University of Delaware (B.S.
2000), where she majored in Chemistry with Environmental
Concentration, and received a Masters in Civil
Engineering from the University of Delaware (MCE. 2005). |
